SCIOS scope 8 and 10 certificates

Technotron is working intensively to obtain SCIOS scope 8 and 10 certificates.

Several employees within our organization have already gained a personal certificate for Scope 8 and 10. Currently we are working to obtain scope 8 and 10 certificates on a company level. This is a time consuming process in which the SCIOS is fully integrated into the company handbook according to the ISO 9001-2015 standards.

SCIOS scope 8 inspections are being carried out by us for a considerable time now. We are proud that we are able to offer inspections according to SCIOS scope 10 as well. 

SCIOS scope 8 inspections are based on the former NEN 3140 inspections and are carried out according to the SCIOS technical document TD-12. Although SCIOS scope 8 is based on the NEN 3140 they do differ from one another.

A SCIOS scope 10 inspection is a fire risk assessment of electrical equipment. This inspection will be performed as an audit according to the SCIOS technical document TD-14. We carry out visual inspections, tests and measurements. These will be assessed using the NTA 8220. Furthermore we perform thermographic inspections which are assessed according to the NPR 8040.

SCIOS 8 and 10 both require an inspection plan to be made in cooperation with the client. This ensures the scope of the inspection and the manner in which the inspection will be carried out is crystal clear.
