Technotron designs and builds custom made main distribution boards

Technotron has recently built a main distribution board for the Ravago factory in Terneuzen.
A main distribution board involves a large deal of custom fabrication. The board in questions is rated for 4000A and is built using the Rittal PLS 1600 system. To connect the distribution to the upstream transformer client Engie chose to use a DKC busbar system. This is a compact busbar system which consists mainly of standard modules. The adapter used to connect to the DKC busbar is placed on the top side of the distribution. The copper inside the distribution is largely custom fabricated. Technotron owns special tools required for bending and punching copper. The copper conductors must be fabricated very precise in order to ensure reliable joints without mechanical stress. 
If needed full load thermographic baseline measurements can be performed by our inspection department.
The main breaker is a Masterpact NW40 (4000A) with Micrologic 2.0. Technotron uses special test equipment to configure and test this breaker. Also earth continuity and insulation tests are performed.
